Had A Circumcision, Lump. Is This Normal Or Beginnings Of An Infection?

I had a circumcision 6 days ago - what s left of my foreskin , on the top of the shaft (i.e. opposite side of the frenulum) seems to be covering the stitches. This is causing a strange smelling build up of white stuff (very very similar in smell and texture to smegma) and a lump about 1/2 an inch below it and stretching across the shaft. Is this normal or the beginnings of an infection? Please help!

Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
No . I don't think it to be an infection. You will experience fever if there is a stitch abscess. Many a time there occurs intense pain and discharge. If you have doubts visit your treating surgeon.
Thank you. All the best.
