The renal sonogram shows mayo thinning of kidney and the cyst. What is that on the kidney? Could the gallbladder be causing kidney problem. My abdomen is swollen on right side.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The gall bladder problem and renal cyst do not seem to be related. Renal cysts are usually asymptomatic and do not pose any problem and remain as such for the life. Single renal cysts do not need any treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
