Got Antibiotic Shot For Rabies. What Is The Dosage For This Aniti Rabies Vaccine?
Hi Dr. i got my full shots (about 4 injections in 4 visits) of anti rabies on january 2011...AGAIN, i was bitten by my puppy last May 2012 but i never had antirabies shot,.. the situation now is that starting june 08 2012, the puppy is sick and im a bit nervous and thinking that the puppy might be infected by rabies virus so i would like to ask, do i need to have more shots of aniti rabies vaccine?

Since you have already taken 4 doses of Rabies vaccine previously, two doses of cell-derived rabies vaccine (intramuscular injection) separated by 3days is sufficient.
No need of taking antirabies serum this time.
