Frequent Tingling Sensation In Penis, Burning While Urinating. History Of Being Tested Positive For UTI. On Antibiotics And Tylenol. Opinion?
I've been experiencing a frequent tingling sensation in my penis along with a burning while urinating. I've been on two seven day strings of anti biotics after 1st being tested positive for a Urinary tract infection. After the 2nd, it came back negative. The burning has become less severe bit the tingling has persisted. Despite currently being on antibiotics and tylenol. What should I ask the urologist about and is there anything else I can do?
Hi ! After discussing with your treating doctor, you should go for a urine culture and sensitivity test to know the appropriate antibiotics. Take plenty of liquids and some alkalizing liquids. Are you married ? If so, please also get her examined for a urinary tract/pelvic infection and in that case both of you need to be treated simultaneously. Good luck.
