For How Long Is Mononucleosis Contagious?

My boyfriend just recently tested positive for mononucleosis, I just wanted to know more about it. We re clearly going to have to wait to see if I ll contract it in the next few weeks. Like can oral sex pass it along to someone who doesn t have it? How long until we can kiss again? Anything really.
