Finger Caught In Car Door. Yellow Pus Leaking From Liquid Bandage. Is It Infected?

I caught my finger in car door and it produced a deep cut/crush injury. Went to emergency room to have it treated. They washed the wound with a saltwater/ saline solution and covered it with liquid bandage . They also xrayed(negative for breakage) It has been a day and a half and there is a little yellow pus leaking from the liquid bandage. Is it infected? Should I return to have it checked again?

hi....
yes it looks like ur injury has gotten infected...try getting a pus culture senstivity of ur wound...and wait for the result to start appropriate antibiotics....plus get ur wound for anti septic dressing twice in a day...get a repeat x ray done to rule out bone infection
