Feeling Stiff, Muscle Tightening In Thumb. Have Tendinitis, Broke Thumb Years Ago

I broke my thumb twice (that i know of) over 10 years ago. Yesterday I started getting weird feelings in the area I broke it, where the thumb connects to the hand. It kind of feels stiff and like the muscles are tightening/spasms. I was diagnosed with tendonitis around that same time after it healed but this feels different. I'm 26, female and in good health but I don't have insurance so any help would be great. Thanks

Hi, it appears that you have arthritis, of the metacarpo phalengeal joint of the thumb. The previous fractures may not have any relation as already 10 years passed.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis.
I prescribe to my patient with such pain, neurotrophic injections for 10 consecutive days. anti inflammatory drugs, and ofloxacin.
Thank you.
