Feeling Of Something Biting On Face, Hard, Bumpy, Itchy, Red Spots On Chest, Palms, Feet, Flu Like Symptoms. On Meclyzine For Vertigo. Suggest

I have been on a European Vacation for approx. 3 weeks. 2 days prior to our getting home in the US, i felt i had been bitten by something on my face, then spots showed up on my chest, and on the palms of my hands; and now on my feet and a few on my legs. They are cherry in color and almost like a hard bump. Some of them itch. I have also had vertigo since this started. I went to the doctor for the vertigo and she put me on meclyzine for the vertigo. i am feeling flu type symptons, fatigue and very light headed; but mainly vertigo on the left side of my head. i have a mild head ache and sensitive to light.

I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

I suspect you may have insect bite allergy.

Allergic reactions to insect stings are more common.

You are suffering from generalized urticaria.
As you are experiencing Flu like symptoms, Lyme disease is also possible from tick bite.
It is caused by a bacterium called Borrelia burgdorferi..
Untreated Lyme disease may cause arthritis, facial pain and heart problems.

Take Antibiotics and Oral coticosteroid like predisolone and Antihistamines like cetrizine in addition to meclizine.

Consult your PCP regarding Possibility of lyme disease and for further treatment.
