Experiencing Numbness In Fingers And Hand

Since I woke up this morning I have had numbness in a couple of my fingers on my left hand. Also, last night I felt pain on the back of my neck and noticed a red bump, then started to feel pain up my neck/bottom of my head. Could they be related. If not, why are my fingers numb for this long?
