During Pregnancy How Long Can Effect Of Smoking Last In The Baby?

I m 31 weeks and I m high risk I ve stopped smoking all day last month I take a hit or 2 sometimes help nausea I m worried because dr already found in my system and me n baby have be clean now at time of birth but I do have a red card with a prescription to smoke just curious how long till my baby system will be clean

Smoking can be a cause of growth retardation of baby so serial ultrasonography with doppler study is essential and helpful for you. Smoking cesation is required as early as possible.
