Due For Surgery On 4th Vertebra, Suffer Degenerative Bone Disease. Had Similar Surgery On Right. Can I Expect Same Result ?
Hi Dr. AAAA next week I am having surgery on on the 4th vertebra and will have a new procedure done which will entail bone made into a paste, put into a capsule and secured by 2 screws to the 3rd & 5th vertebra. This surgery was done on my right side C5 & C7 in 1996. It is degenerating bone. Same Dr. will be doing the surgery. my question is will I expect the same positive results? Donor site in 1996 was from my right hip. Apparently no donor site is required this time around.
