Does Vitamin Deficiency Cause Chest Pain And Vomiting?

I have been feeling sick for years. Having episodes for months at times that has me throwing up in the morning. This is to the point where i will force myself out of bed in order to throw up. It looks like globs of foamy spit that clogs my throat to where i am unable to breath at times. Random times there will be spots of blood. It is never what i ate, it is always like bile. My chest will hurt at times. And during the day i will feel nauseous and drained. I want to do things but it feels as if my body does not let me. My stomach always hurts. I work part time and in school full time so it is hard for me to see a doctor, whom will just send me to a specialist, of which i cannot afford. I don t know what this is but it s getting worse, and i am tired of throwing up EVERY morning. what could it be? is it a vitamin deficiency or could it be worse?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there! I read through your question and what it seems to me that s that you are suffering from peptic ulcer disease with severe GERD. This is not something that can be ignored and needs proper assessment. If I were your physician I would advise you to undergo an upper GI endoscopy. For now try raising the head end of your bed by about 4 inches. Avoid eating or drinking for two hours before you go to sleep. To help control stomach acids avod spicy food , don't drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them, avoid oily foods. Also you should take proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole. Hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Stay healthy.
