Does Uncontrolled BP Cause Vertigo?

I was diagnosed today with vertigo and referred the neurological out patient clinic for Vestibular therapy. Medical diagnosis: BPPV All my medications were reviewed and no changes made, told to drink 6-8 glasses of water and take BP 3 times per day because that might be the problem. Does this sound right? eb

BPPV is due to a problem in motion sensors in your inner ear usually following mechanical trauma. Vestibular therapy and some drugs will help. High blood pressure is probably an incidental finding.
