Does Tonsillitis Affect The Baby During Pregnancy?

Hello I am 5 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if a sore throat/tonsilitis could affect my unborn child in any way? I m not hundred percent sure if it s tonsilitis but I have white spots on my tonsils so I m guessing it is, if you could give me any advice I would be so grateful thank you.

Hi,welcome to HCM. I think it may be tonsilitis. My opinion is you take tab Azithral 500 od for 3 days and 2hourly betadin gurgling wash for better prognosis. You don't worried,I think there will be no harm to your baby for this cause. If you have any other query then you can contact me. Thanx.
