Does This Cefeprime Prescribed For Recurring UTI's Have Any Side Effects Concerning Blood Pressure ?
82 yr. old female with reacurring UTI's is now on her 7th day of cefeprime thru a pick line at home. History of high blood pressure, but it has been 199 over 93 she took 20mg of lisinopril at 9:00 am. I gave another 10mg at 6:30 pm...Does this Cefeprime have any side effects concerning blood pressure? It seem difficult to look up this one? Thanks!
Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been taking Cefeprime for UTI since last week and have noticed your blood pressure to be high after taking this medication.
Please note that Cefeprime is an antibiotic and does not have any action on Cardio Vascular system.
