Does The Lipid Test Indicate Coronary Artery Disease?

I am a 42 year old male and i have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for over a year now, i have chest pains which come and go mostly on the right side of my chest just above the breast bone and sometimes further right towards the extreme of my side. i also have cramps on my right hand and foot (mostly) as well as pain in my back. I did an ecg about a month ago and the result was basically normal save for some unspecified conductivity abnormalities. Also did a lipids test and my total cholesterol was 5.1 Mmol/l. Do I have a coronary artery disease?

Lipid profile does not indicate that you are having coronary heart disease. In coronary heart disease pain is usually felt on the left side. Moreover , your ECG is normal. In diabetes mellitus there can be atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries which may lead to heart attack.
