Does The Intake Of Sumo Cold Have Any Side Effects?

Hi doctor..i have a soar throat since yesterday. since today morning my nose is blocked, have a headache and little sneezing. i have been advised to take sumocold. i have a 7mnth old baby and i am feeding him as of now. I wanted to know whether d medicine has any side effects.

Sumo cold contains caffeine, paracetamol, an antihistamine (cetrizine), phenylephrine ( a decongestant).

If you are breast feeding and worrying about the effects on the baby - it should not adversely affect the baby because it should not be in the breast milk in significant amounts.

In terms of effects on you- the caffeine and phenylephrine are stimulating and may affect your sleep.
