Does The Following HCG Test Result Suggest Pregnancy Termination?

Hi Doctor I am pregnant by 7 weeks now. I was on pcod medication b4 and continuing to have glucophage once a day On pregnancy confirm I m taking duphaston twice along with aspirin and prednisone 5mg Weekly once I had done better hcg to study to see if there is stable increase. Doctor conclusion itS increasing but Slowing. So Doctor had told me stop all medication to terminate my pregnancy. I need a second opinion please suggest what to do.

Hi,

No, you should should not terminate your pregnancy just only because of hCG values. In my opinion, you should also get done detailed ultrasound examination of placenta, gestation sac and fetal poles.

If all these are normal then you can definitely continue your pregnancy. So better to consult another gynecologist.
