A couple of weeks ago I got choked up watching a movie... I think my epiglottis moves and now causes me to feel like something is stuck in my throat. I recently went into a high elevation trip and it got worse. I m 48 yr old male been to the mountains many times before no issues. Is it possible that it has moved and can it be put back?
Hi. Epiglottis will not usually displace form it s place unless untill there is a trauma r any other cause. As you history goes. I dont think you have any major problem. Kindly do a warm saline gargle twice a day. Wait for few days. If it doesnt subside, you can meet an ENT surgeon for clinical examination. Thank you.
