Does Taking Primolut In Pregnancy Cause Defects In Fetus?
Hi doctor, I m a doctor completed my MBBS last year, married two months back..My UPT came positive yesterday.. i.ve taken 5 doses of primolut tabs to postpone my periods last week as we went on our honeymoon not knowing that i m pregnant.. i read that baby will be born with birth defects.. wat shall i do now.

primolut is just a progesterone which we prescribe in first trimester to prevent pregnancy loss. So i suggest don't panic because this may occur one in hundred cases. if you want to continue your pregnancy you can but strictly consult your gynecologist regularly and get the anamoly scan in second trimester to rule out congenital abnormalities.
