Does Taking Norfan Cause Low BP?

I was hospitalized for a GI bleed, loss my of my sera fluids. I was administered Norfan, and I died, literally. My blood pressure dropped to 61 over 17. The last thing I heard was, I ve never seen a pressure so low. I remember prior to this, give Norfan. I literally felt my life slip away. Why would anyone do this to me? I jumped back into consciousness after I was given, I suppose something like pure adrenalin. Where they testing my limits, or just having some training fun? My O stat was very low, and they had me up to 8. Can you tell me why this was done?

Norfan is an antibiotic used to treat infection it might have caused anaphylaxis resulting in severe fall in BP however it is very rare to occur.
Since you have been bleeding from GI, excessive loss of blood has resulted in fall in blood pressure and due to this you had lost your consciousness for a short time. This looks like to be the main cause behind the shock you had.
With the use of Adrenaline your BP was restored to normal.
No doctor will have the fun when dealing with the patient especially if the patient is in critical condition, please do not carry this notion.
