Does Strep Throat Cause Headache?
my brother in law has had sever headaches since last thursday. he has been to the E.R 3 times with right now. catscan was normal, labs as well vitals are normal. the only thing positive was strep throat his wbc 14,700. Could positive strep be causing this?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the bacterial infection then it may not give just headache but it is always being associated with fever and fatigue, if the total count is high then it could be infection but it needs to be correlated with the clinical condition, antibiotic can be given once it is well indicated else, Tab Acetaminophen can be tried for headache, hope this information helps.
