Does Standing Too Long Cause Numbness In The Legs?

I retired in 2016 as a Buyer for a large corporation. I recently (3 weeks ago) took a job in a grocery store bakery. Lately, like in the past week, I ve noticed my left leg gets cold, then numb, like it s not there. Also, I have a pain in my left foot. I do stand a lot on concrete floors and bought safety shoes (skid-proof). Is this caused by my standing too long ?

Hi,

Prolonged standing can cause numbness due to reduced blood supply to your lower limbs.

Nothing much to worry and no definite treatment is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
