Does Smoking Cause Decreased Libido, Erectile Dysfunction And Shortness Of Breath?

Hey, I am 26 and have been smoking about a pack a day for over ten years. I get easily winded, and short of breath. I ve also noticed in the past year that I have a decreased libido and erectile dysfunction, is this anywhere near normal for a smoker of my age?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. Usually chronic smokers are supposed to have the physical reasons related erectile dysfunction and low libido. In your case, you are an young adult aged only 26 and therefore your problem may not be due to smoking (provided your smoking is less than 10 years). Still you need to consult an urologist.

Secondly, smoking can indirectly influence ED and low libido. Smoking can cause anxiety and other psychological problems and they in turn can cause ED and problems in libido. In that case, sexual counseling should help you.
