Does Slight Bleeding Followed By Brown Discharge After Unprotected Sex Mean Anything ?

The other day on the 28th of January I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. He didn't finish inside me. Later the same day I started to bleed a little but it stopped. Two days later on the 30th I had a dark brown discharge (it was spotting). I'm not sure what this means and I don't want to stress myself causing a delayed period. My period is supposed to come on Sunday February 2. Can you help please?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The slight bleeding and the brownish discharge that you had after the periods is likely to be due to a local injury in the genitalia during the act. It is not suggestive of pregnancy.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
