Does Sleep Apnea Trigger The Degenerative Joint Disease Causing Chronic Pain?

I have degenerative joint disease in my right shoulder and my lower back. I have had chronic pain since 1993. I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. Is there any way that the sleep apnea and the chronic pain are connected? I have also been taking pain medication just as long is this tied to sleep apnea? Thank you for your time.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, sleep apnea and the joints pain are two different conditions and these need to be taken care separately, neither the pain medication anything to take with apnea hope this information helps.
