Does Skinlite Cream Have Any Side Effects?

I am 28 years old female and I am using Skinlite cream by last 2 years for dark pigmentation. may i know the side effects of this cream? Because now iam trying for to get pregnant. It is mentioned in the Skinlite that not using during pregnancy and lactation.

Hi. Welcome to healthcaremagic.

Skinlite cream should not be used for more than 2-3 months and that too without the supervision of a doctor for fear of steroid related side effects like:

-Acne,
-Photosensitivity,
-Skin thinning and Telangiectasia,
-Facial hair growth,specially troublesome in females.

It is not advisable to use it in pregnancy because it contains tretinoin as well apart from a potent steroid , which is contraindicated in pregnancy. Therefore, I would advice that you discontinue the cream right away.

Use a broad spectrum sunscreen, which offers both UVB and UVA protection throughout the day.
