Does Severe Pain In Neck, Head And Ears Post Injury Need Medical Attention?
I have an autistic son who was having a meltdown and I tried to get him on his bed and hit the base of my skull top of my neck region on the top bunk pretty hard. My neck head and ears hurt pretty bad. Should I go to the hospital? I am 35 female 246 pounds
hello maam, You can opt for some analgesics like tramadol and paracetamol combination before going to the hospital.Observe for 2-3 days,if your symptoms improve then there's nothing to worry. But if you have any of these symptoms like severe headache, nausea and vomiting, vertigo and loss of consciousness, then you must have a CT scan of the brain done and visit a neurosurgeon. Hot fomentation with a hot water bag would also help you to some extent. Anyways, you take care and wish you a very speedy recovery. :)
