Does Sciatica Cause Pain In The Buttocks?

pins and needles like pain in left buttock on coughing/moving sidewards etc., pain may be because of excessive sitting (for 12 hrs per day), including some weight gain recently, is this Sciatica? I Don t have any kind of pain or numbness in other parts of body.

The symptoms are typical of sciatica. It can cause pain in the buttocks and back of thighs. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. As of now analgesics like gabapentin can be tried.
