Does Primolut- N Help In Delaying Period?

Hi, I was planning to take primolut - N from tomorrow for an upcoming event on 26th August. I has unprotected sex last night and am planning to take the morning after pill today. Will this delay my period. I do not want to have my cycle during or before 26th. Thanks

Morning after pill should be taken at the earliest to avoid unwanted pregnancy. But, it doesn't delay your period and you may get withdrawal bleeding at any time after taking the pill. It is quite unpredictable.

However, I suggest to take Primolut-N twice daily from next day (after taking morning after pill) till you want to delay your period. It will be best choice in this situation. You will get your period within 5 to 7 days of stopping the pill.
