Thank you for your query.
Would you please clarify a few things for me?

1)are you overweight?
2)are you a diabetic? Hypertensive? Any history of heart disease?
3)do you have a history of osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis?
4)have you had any injury to your neck? Do you have a sedentary lifestyle?
5)is the pain worse when you lie down?

Your symptoms are indicative of spinal nerve compression (pinched nerve). Do you have numbness and tingling along the area of pain? 'yes' to one or more of the questions above increases the probability of nerve compression
Do you perspire when you have the pain? Or have any giddiness?
As the pain has not subsided with medications, I advise to have it checked out.

I would like to rule out any cardiac pathology. Heart related problems can have non specific symptoms in women.

I recommend that you see a physician who will guide you to a neurologist based on his findings. You may need x-rays, MRI and ecg. Blood work may be required as well.

In the meantime, maintain good posture, relax shoulders and other muscles consciously. Sometimes we tend to shrug and keep it that way. If it gets worse when you lie down, adjust pillows and your position and avoid sleeping on your left for too long.

If the pain is too severe or you have new symptoms like chest pain, sweating, giddiness or muscle weakness, go to the ER and don't go alone.

Hope I've helped. Please get back to us if you need further clarification.
Wish you good health
