Does Pain From The Left Hip Down To The Leg Indicate Kidney Stones?

Have pain from my left hip down the outside of my leg. The pain crosses over to the inside and just above my knee. Some pain in my back at the hip area. Most pain in leg muscle. Could this be a kidney stone as some of the pin seems to go from back to front?
