Does Old Age Cause Tingling Sensation In The Toes And Fingers Along With Body Tremors?

Concerned about by myself, 54 years old. In January I noticed my toes tingling all the time, have fingers that get locked up, have severe shakes from time to time, left eye has gone real bad, and ankles are bruised easily. Is it just age? The tingling and the shakes really has me concerned.

Hello,

Having any symptom is not normal regardless of your age, which is not that advanced. Tingling and shaking usually indicated neurological disorders but more information is required to make a diagnosis.

Unfortunately the information you've provided is not enough. I can't understand what's wrong with your eye but I don't see any direct connection to your tingling problem.

Ankle bruising may occur for various causes including venous insufficiency, heart failure, low albumin (albuminuria or other disorders), etc.

It requires clinical and lab testing to determine the underlying processes that lead to it.

Age is never a good enough reason to justify almost any symptom.

So in conclusion, you should visit your primary care physician for an initial assessment. The tingling and shaking might require a neurologist to take over the investigation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
