Does Missing A Dose Of Progynova And Duphaston During IVF Treatment Is Harmful?

Hello doctor, I am on ivf treatment and missed the one doze of Progynova, duphaston and folmed - M at night. I remember it in morning and take it but almost 12 hours are passed and my next doze timing is after 2 hours from now.. Is it Ok or something serious.. Normally I take this medicines two times.. I.e. After lunch and dinner..If I continue the same today I have to take it for three times I.e.including yesterday s missed doze.. Is it Ok? Please answer as soon as possible.. I am worried too much..

Hi,

In such a condition taking next dose after 2 hours would raise the dose of medication by double and in next 12 hours. Thus, cause irregularity in hormonal supply to the pregnancy. Now, you have to change the schedule 12 hourly according to today's timings. It's advisable to your treating doctor for advise of any supplementary medicine to fulfill the deficit caused by your missed dose.
