Does Low Hemoglobin Level Cause Fever?
my wife is 31 years old, she has been diaganosed with ITP for last 9 years and on very low dose of Deltacortel (steroids) and keep count of 20-30 platelets. she is also having low Hemoglobin 8.2 for last few months and having mild fever 99.0 on regular basis. her WBC count is okay. should we go for some other test? or low Hemoglobin is the reason for 99.0 fever?

I really appreciate your concern, low grade fever need to be observed for three to four days most of the time it will come around particularly in female patient, and this is not due to ITP or low hemoglobin, if the condition of low grade fever persist then complete blood work would be necessary, hope this information may helps, take care and have a nice day.
