Does Laxative Taken After Birth Control Pill Affect Contraception?
Last Thursday night I missed my birth control. I usually take it at 10-11 pm and I think I took it that morningr at 9am. Today (Tuesday) I had sex without a condom and have been on an organic detox that has made me have mild diareah and contains a mild laxative. Im concerned because I just read that taking these things could stop the absorption of the pill. Is this true/am I pregnant

Laxatives will not affect the absorption of the pill. As soon as you remember you may need to take the forgotten pill even though you may take two at the same time.
