Does Itchy And Swollen Vagina Indicate Abnormal PH Level?

I have vaginal itching that is external and almost feels like it is internal as well. It also seems like some sort of a rash has developed on my labia along with some swelling, redness, and tenderness. The discharge seems to be more yellow but with no outstanding odor. I did a home vaginal pH test and it was abnormal. What could this be?

Hello,

1)-it may be allergic, you might be using some different substances.
2)-it may be infective, which can give abnormal ph like, trichomoniasis, candidiasis, vaginosis.

I would have adviced short antibiotics course of metronidazole or antifungal after examination.

Followed by a local application of some anti-inflammatory cream, and vaginal wash of 3.5 ph twice daily to clean Pvt part.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
