Does Intense Coughing For Some Days Turn The Mucous From Greenish To Redish?

My mucous that I have been coughing up for about 5 days has decreased in volume but has turned from greenish to more brown and the last couple appear to have some blood or redish in the mucous. I feel better overall is there a chance that the intense coughing the last 4 or 5 days has caused this?

Hi,

i can understand your concerns

Is not normal to keep coughing for several days, the mucous turning from green to red can be related due the irritation of your throat but this is just the symptom alone, intense coughing could be related to numerous reason which cant be determined by the information you have provided, so there is more information needed which would help in reaching a precise diagnosis and thus a remedial treatment.

----so kindly provide the following details----

(1) do you have headaches ???
(2) do you have know allergy ???
(3) was pain the only issue or it was associated with other features like nausea/vomiting/cramps in abdominal area/loose stools/constipation ???
(4) was the coughing associated only with certain specific types of foods like spicy/oily/milk products etc ????
(5) how much your throat hurts?? which parts??
(6) have you experience this recently????
(7) whats your medical history????

Kindly provide these details so that i can study and evaluate your case in details and reach a precise diagnosis of your underlying disease and can help you with the permanent remedy of your agonizing disease.....

Kind Regards
