My uncle with no known health issues died after he went to be. They said it was a heart attack but there were no post mortem indicators on the body. After about 30 hours in the morgue, they moved the body and there was a massive nosebleed and the blood looked very fresh. It ll change nothing, but I am tryinf to find a reason why he died all of a sudden
Hello and welcome to HCM, Nose bleed is not associated with heart attack. However, nose bleed can occur in case of trauma head and high blood pressure There are many other causes of nose bleed but these most likely. Trauma to head or nasal bone can cause bone fracture and thus bleeding. If your uncle has undergone autopsy, examination of heart will reveal features of heart attack. If there is medical history of high blood pressure, evidence of high blood pressure can be seen in autopsy also. However, for eliciting evidence to find out cause of death, histopathological examination of the organs needs to be done. Just superficial examination of the body may not be sufficient.
