Does Exposure To Formaldehyde Influence The Male Productive System?
I am planing to have a baby but my husband's company has moved to a new building, where the formaldehyde level is relatively high at the very beginning. it's been five month, the office building is almost odour-free. it is possible that exposure to formaldehyde might influence male productive system? or result in congenital malformation?

No, formaldehyde has nothing to do with reproductive system. we doctors using this formaldehyde in the sterilization of operation theatres regularly. we do this procedure overnight. when we enter into the operation theatre in the morning we feel the smell and fumes of the formaldehyde solution. it it affects the reproductive system we never had childs. so no effect on reproduction. regarding congenital malformation i can say there is no chemical till date known that is complete or 100% safe in regards of congenital malformation. so better avoid such chemicals when you are pregnant.
