Does Excessive Intake Of Piriton For Chicken Pox Have Any Adverse Effect?

My son has chicken pox and I have been giving him piriton to sport the pain. I have just realised I have been giving him too much In 24 hrs he has had 12.5ml instead of the recommended 5ml he is one and weighs 26lb Please could you advise Many thanks

It is better to stick on to prescribed dose, high doses of Piriton can cause injury to his liver.
