But till now I havent had my periods is it possible that I can be pregnant or even after having duphaston periods can delay. Please advice as I dont want to get my hopes up and get disheart later on. By I have having cramping pains around my belly like periods pain since the day I finished my course.
Hi, I have gone through your question. Duphastone is progesterone which supports the pregnancy by making uterine environment more favourable for conception. Duphastone leads to delay in periods, but the periods do occur within7-10 days of stopping the drug. I would suggest you to do a urine pregnancy test done and if positive then do consult an OBGYN specialist for further management. If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then do wait for7-10 days after stopping the drug, if the periods still don't come, then it may be due to hormonal disturbances, for which you should be investigated.
