Does Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra Increase Rapidly During Pregnancy?
Hi, I m 34yrs old and 36weeks+ pregnant.my third pregnancy, but have developed several tiny moles on my face and neck.Have just a few before the pregnancy. They call it DPN-dermatosis papulosa nigra. I m black. has this got to do with pregnancy? thanks

Dermatosis papulosa nigra has been studied but the cause has yet to be established. There are no links established with pregnancy and the only likely cause so far is a genetic predisposition or an age-related occurence.
