Does Constipation Cause Shoulder Pain?

I have severe left shoulder pain. I recemtly started peritoneal dialysis and having trouble with constipation. My pd nurse says it is from being comstipated. I am taking ln Lactolose ywice a day which hasn t helped and last night I started aking extra strength Tylenol for the pain. I also have abdominal discomfort mar51

Hello,

Constipation is not associated with shoulder pain. Constipation may be not good for liver failure patients. Eat high fiber diet, use Bisacodyl suppositories may useful. Regular exercise, with soluble fiber may be helpful. Please consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
