Hello and welcome to Ask a doctor service. I have read through your question and here is my opinion.Since you have taken an I pill on the 16 of February there is a chance that your periods have been delayed because of that.It causes a hormonal imbalance in the body which delays periods and cause premenstrual symptoms. I would advise you to get an urine pregnancy test done just to be sure.If you don't want to conceive at present it is advisable to go for a regular contraception method. you can discuss the options with your gynaecologist. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.Thank you and wishing you good health.
