Hi,

A collapsed follicle means that the egg has already been released from the follicle and ovulation has occurred. The size of the follicle at the time of ovulation can indicate how mature the egg was, but it is difficult to say for sure without additional information such as hormone levels.

If ovulation has occurred, then pregnancy is possible if the egg is fertilized by sperm. However, many factors can affect the likelihood of pregnancy, such as the timing of intercourse, the quality of the egg and sperm, and any underlying fertility issues.

The endometrial thickness of 6.8mm is within the normal range for the mid-cycle and can support the implantation of a fertilized egg. However, a thicker endometrium is generally considered more favorable for pregnancy.

The collapsed follicle itself should not cause any complications in pregnancy, but it is important to follow up with your healthcare provider to ensure that everything is progressing normally. They may recommend further testing or monitoring to assess your fertility and the health of the pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

As a result of follicle collapse follicle may mature faster than the egg inside and release it too soon these eggs may not be viable for pregnancy.
