Does Cirrhosis Of Liver Cause Hoarse Voice, Low Appetite And Hot Flashes?

i have a friend with cirrohis of the liver still drinks daily and has a cold and a horse voice, can u tell me why please tell me what is mostly likely to happen she is confused delentional dont have appeite hot flashes and legs gives out on her daily please give me some advice on what to do, she doesnt want to go to the doctor

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the alcohol is having an effect on her vocal cords, it can cause dangerous changes that eventually become cancerous.

It is also possible that the hoarseness if related to a more benign reason such as post nasal drip, cough/cold, severe reflux, excess use of voice.

It would be in her best interest to see her doctor. It may also be best that she sees a counsellor to help her to decrease her alcohol use.
