Does Catheterisation Cause Infections And Back Pain And Can It Be Removed?
have mesh tvt,,was left unable to go to toilet for over 3 months after op a further op allowed small amount urine to pass normally but still need to catheterise 8 years on constant infections and back pain can it be removed..so worried after what I read about it damaging your insides

Hi, thanks for using HCM.
Cauterization is one of the risk factor for repeated infection. Continuous catheter in place is not to continue. Reconstruction of urethra to pass urine is required. Need to get other solution for your problems. Repeated infection can spread up to your kidney and causing damage.
