Does An Overdose Of Levothyroxine Possess Any Adverse Effect?
I was prescribes 126mg of levothyroxine to be cut in half and taken once a day. I m also on levocytrizine for allergies. I got the two mixed up and accidently took a second dose of my thyroid med instead of the allergy pill. Will it make me sick or hurt me?

Overdosing with thyroxine may cause transient palpitations, shakiness, sleep disturbance, etc. Just one extra dose of Levothyroxine may or may not cause any symptoms. But be careful, if you have a history of any cardiac disease. If you have any of the above symptoms, please contact your primary MD.
