Does An Abortion Cause Difficulty In Conceiving?

Hi, My wife had her periods fell on August 31 to September 3, but she has missed them on the expected dates (September 28 to October 1). We had intercourse between September 13 - 16. There might be high chance for her getting pregnant. However, she wants to abort, if such is the case. Do we have any home remedy for this? As it might be in very early stage, how can she abort safely, what are the chances of, if this early abortion has any ill effects and can cause difficulty in conceiving later on? Appreciate in advance.

Inducing an abortion will not usually cause difficulty conceiving in the future. However, it is better to wait 3 months after an abortion before you start trying again to get pregnant.
Oral medications can be used to induce abortion before 12 weeks of pregnancy. First pregnancy should be confirmed by taking pregnancy test and Ultrasound abdomen needs to be done to confirm pregnancy is intrauterine.
Medications used to induce abortion include misoprostol and mifepristone. First, take mifepristone 200 mg orally followed by( 24 hours later )Misoprostol 200 microgram (total of 6 tablets) kept under the tongue.
These medications need to be used under the supervision and guidance of a gynecologist.
